One of our most frequently asked questions include whether we provide certified translations or not. Certified translations are required mainly in case of personal and legal documents such as marriage certificates, divorce decrees, birth certificates, foreign credentials adoption papers, judicial decisions, judgments, summons, pleadings, contracts, agreements and many more. They are generally requested by universities of high stature or government run organizations.

In order for a translation to be certified an affidavit of accuracy is to be presented by the translator stating that the document has been translated to the best of his/her knowledge. The affidavit of accuracy presented mentions that the translator is fluent in both languages (source language and translated language).
